I could add more, but without using a tug too many of the astroids aren't easily complex-able. It was expensive to set up, but there are 6 1mj sheild fabs in the complex and it sells out constantly. The absolute biggest earner in this respect is a massive 1mj sheild producing complex in Ocean of Fantasy. My biggest money earner in X3 is 1mj sheilds. they will most likely have a bbs mission to get them like 2000 cells at 23, and have a 10000 bonus or somthing. if you want to make some cash doing trade with other stations, go to stations that aer empy of energy cells. in x3 space fuel is the bomb, never tried it in x2. I usually over compensate, but then I was never loosing money my stations were never full of sells and never empy of crystals. just make sure you have enough ships buying stuff and enough selling. just make sure to get the bgh upgrade or whatever it is. I had alot of other stuff but they werent raking in cash. I know most of you are probably playing X3 right now, but my PC can't handle it, but I would appreciate any advice or tips for this! I've also been looking for a guide out there but I can't find one. Is it maybe possible to capture an M2 in your little dicoverer? So I was just wondering if any of you people know if there's a known and proven method out there of getting money fast, without cheating of course, and without having to spend endless nights drinking unhealthy doses of coffee while you go from one station to another. I managed to own up to 4 wheat farms (cause the are cheap) but hardly made much profit. Although I took advantage of best buy/sell etc, and I got lots of profit, I was getting no where near to my goal of getting an M2 Destroyer. I spent weeks on end just trading in my Boron Dolphin, going from staion to staition making trade runs. This all said it appears some people feel it gets boring after reaching level 80.I have had X2 since it came out years ago, but one thing that put me off playing was how I found it so difficult to make any real progress in the game making money or building factories. ![]() and sometimes there are big world events that changes the maps quite a bit, like when the toxic alliance attacked and built a great tower in a lake and when they were defeated the countryside around it had turned to wasteland.) (Not to mention I keep finding new little caves and such. Personally I think the other guys could have just held off on their own questline until they could do them all in one go.Įvents: There are a lot of triggered events which means that everytime you pass through a map you're likely to experience something you didn't, the last time. ![]() And when you're done, you ramble about aimlessly (but still exploring and doing other "quests" and events, don't forget events!) for ten levels before you get the next part of your storyline. Some people disliked having to go exploring for a while to get to the next required level so now apparently we get all level 10-20 storyline quests as one chunk at level 20. You get a "personal story" questline - previously with new quests every few levels. They did make a change recently though, which I hope they will unmake. Personally I feel that levelling up sort of just happens while I explore and craft and such. I think different people will give different answers to that, but I read somewhere that it's supposed to take about 90 minutes per level, so it doesn't exactly get harder and harder, with more grinding to reach the next level. Is this like every other MMO, where it's mildly entertaining for the brief period that you spend levelling up, then becomes a tedious slog of repetitive grinding/farming the same areas over and over and over and.
